In this role, you will collaborate with area nurse managers to address clinical staff performance concerns and ensure clinical support. You will partner with pharmacy leadership to review and adjust clinical staffing across assigned sites, and review events in Origami to identify trends in patient safety and quality needs.
You will work alongside risk management, nurse managers, and clinical staff to ensure timely event review and appropriate follow-up, while assisting in preparing the annual area budget related to clinical services. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree preferred.
- OCN certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Valid state driver's license for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings; compliance with company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in healthcare or clinic/outpatient setting with knowledge of oncology required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with area nurse managers to address clinical staff performance concerns and ensure clinical support.
- Collaborate with area leadership on clinical candidate screening and selection.
- Provide direct oversight of assigned staff in the area.
- Partner with nurse managers and pharmacy leadership to review and adjust clinical staffing across assigned sites as necessary.
- Review assigned events in Origami and regional event dashboards to identify trends in patient safety and quality needs; provide quarterly event trend report.
- Partner with risk management, nurse managers, and clinical staff to ensure timely Origami event review and appropriate follow-up.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual area budget related to clinical services.
