Day-to-day work includes drafting stakeholder engagement plans for target KOLs and HCPs. MSLs respond to unsolicited medical requests and document all interactions in VEEVA. They identify unmet education needs and share competitive insights internally.

The role operates within the US Pain MSL team under direction of the Team Lead. Colleagues receive support for travel, HCP interactions, and congress attendance. This ensures alignment with US Pain Medical Lead objectives and strategies.

Opportunities exist to develop innovative medical education materials addressing unique KOL needs. MSLs contribute to company strategy by gathering field insights. This posting supports ongoing hiring needs for future Medical Affairs opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or clinical setting

Responsibilities

  • Draft, execute, monitor and adapt independent US MSL Stakeholder Engagement Plans for target KOLs/HCPs.
  • Provide monthly written summaries of activities and achievements to the US Pain MSL Team Lead.
  • Respond to Reactive Medical Communications for Unsolicited Medical Requests from HCPs and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate internally the activities of rival Medical Affairs organizations with target KOLs/HCPs.
  • Partner with the US Pain MSL Team Lead to develop independent medical education materials addressing unmet KOL needs.
  • Gather and communicate KOL insights to inform advancement of US Medical and company strategy.
  • Develop and communicate independent Ad Board, Congress and Customer Insight Reports.
  • Staff independent Medical Affairs booths at congresses and provide internal training on products and disease states.
