Requirements

  • Recognized subject matter expert in the therapeutic area with ability to deliver advanced scientific engagement.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and academic centers.
  • Proven capacity to work effectively in a self-directed manner within a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience leading department-wide projects and contributing to national field medical initiatives.
  • Strong ability to obtain, integrate, and communicate HCP feedback to align with medical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary field-based medical liaison providing medical information and scientific exchange to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, establish, and manage collaborative relationships with local, national, and regional medical and scientific leaders to address scientific needs.
  • Present healthcare professionals with accurate, unbiased, and balanced answers to unsolicited requests for information.
  • Establish scientific and clinical relationships with thought leaders and academic centers to expand research and educational opportunities.
  • Engage in non-product discussions on disease state, diagnosis, epidemiology, and unmet medical needs.
  • Lead department-wide projects and participate in cross-functional activities that serve strategic initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights by maintaining expertise in the therapeutic area to support company objectives.
  • Monitor the competitive environment for advances and trends and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
