Staff Pharmacist

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team and help transform healthcare delivery. As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role at the forefront of patient care, modeling our values and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients while supporting pharmacy operations.

In this role, you'll assist the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team while being accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts without overlap
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathetic care and proactive issue resolution
• Deliver immunizations and support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
• Manage pharmacy inventory following best practices with focus on cold chain protection
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations at all times
• Provide pharmacist-delivered clinical care including testing and prescribing services
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and contribute to safe, inclusive team dynamics
