Provide clinical pharmacy services at Select Specialty Hospital, supporting critical illness recovery patients with medication management and drug therapy monitoring.
Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our critical illness recovery hospital team. We are committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a Pharmacist, you will play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care during some of the most vulnerable moments in patients' lives.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture. You will provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adequate drug supplies are maintained at all times. Additionally, you will participate in patient drug therapy monitoring, inform and instruct patients on discharge medications, and contribute to new employee training and education programs while promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.
Experience Requirements
Current state pharmacist licensure required, hospital pharmacy residency preferred
Education Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy plus advanced degree preferred
