We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our Sam's Club team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This leadership role combines clinical pharmacy expertise with management responsibilities, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on member health outcomes while leading a dynamic pharmacy team.
As Pharmacist Manager, you will provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members on healthcare and medication needs. You'll drive sales and profit in pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory management, and cross-functional relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations including prescription dispensing, immunization services, and patient counseling
- Lead and develop pharmacy staff through training, mentoring, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations for controlled substances
- Drive pharmacy sales growth through strategic merchandising and member service excellence
- Implement community outreach programs and health initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to optimize patient care
Experience Requirements
Licensed pharmacist with retail pharmacy management experience preferred
Education Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy, FPGEC certification acceptable, ACPE immunization training required
