This 12-month internship focuses on a Nephrology/Rheumatology project fostering scientific exchange between Roche, medical professionals, healthcare providers, and patients. You will take specific project responsibilities to drive development, introduction, and informed use of innovative medicines worldwide.
Work as a full team member supporting daily activities while building knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare ecosystem. This role enables you to create competencies for the global Medical Network and establish a solid network for your future career.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) Master’s (MSc) degree in Life Sciences or other sciences with demonstrated interest in drug development
- Strong Ethics & Relationship Building – High ethical standards and ability to foster sustainable relationships with stakeholders
- Effective Communication & Collaboration – Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and English language skills in an international setting
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, and ability to process information effectively
- Growth Mindset & Impact-Driven – Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute meaningfully to the healthcare ecosystem
- Adaptability & Organizational Awareness – Ability to work in a matrix environment with shared responsibilities
- Knowledge of drug development and project management is a plus
- Skills or experiences in digital sciences and/or innovation are a plus
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for specific global medical affairs activities and contribute to project goals by understanding impact on product development and commercialisation
- Support daily activities as a full member of the project team
- Proactively build knowledge and increase understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare ecosystem
- Foster scientific exchange between Roche and medical professionals, healthcare providers, and patients in Nephrology/Rheumatology
- Help drive development, introduction, uptake, and informed use of innovative medicines in clinical practice
- Collaborate in an integrated environment with affiliates, global development, and global strategy
