Evenings Inpatient Operations Pharmacist

We are seeking a passionate pharmacist to join our team at Indiana University Health's Adult Academic Health Center, providing comprehensive, value-based medication-related care to achieve definite outcomes that improve patient quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to work in collaboration with healthcare professionals in the shared responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes.

As an Evenings Inpatient Operations Pharmacist, you will ensure safety and effectiveness of the medication use process, process and dispense medications per order or prescription, provide medication therapy monitoring, and maintain regulatory compliance. You'll have oversight of pharmacist extenders while maintaining the security of medications and protecting patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide drug information support for medical staff and ensure continuity of care
• Process and dispense medications according to orders and prescriptions
• Monitor medication therapy and identify potential challenges in common situations
