Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries. We are seeking an MEP Project Manager to lead pharma and life science construction projects in Madrid, working site-based five days a week.

In this role, you will define the project development strategy, procurement route, and Project Execution Plan. You will monitor cost plans, master programmes, and risk registers to ensure accurate forecasting and informed decision-making while acting as the primary client interface.

You will coordinate consultants, designers, and contractors through clear communication and structured governance, ensuring full compliance with the Quality Management System. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing inspections, snagging, tailored project workflows, and producing concise monthly reports for the Client and Operations Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or logistics projects
  • Engineering degree background (Industrial, Electrical, or equivalent) with strong knowledge of MEP construction and building systems
  • Proficient in Office 365 and Microsoft Project
  • Fluent English and Spanish required for regular client interaction and technical meetings
  • Strong knowledge of site operations, health & safety, and sustainability standards
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results

Responsibilities

  • Define the project development strategy, procurement route, and Project Execution Plan
  • Monitor the cost plan, master programme, and risk register to ensure accurate forecasting and informed decision-making
  • Act as the primary Client interface and coordinate consultants, designers, and contractors through clear communication and structured governance
  • Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System by overseeing inspections, snagging, and tailored project workflows
  • Produce clear, concise monthly reports for the Client and Operations Management, ensuring full visibility of performance
  • Anticipate challenges early to reduce exposure to delays, cost overruns, and rework through robust planning and resource optimization
  • Drive alignment between site activities and project standards, enabling efficient delivery and real-time progress tracking
  • Provide stakeholders with clear, reliable, and timely reporting to support informed decisions and maintain trust at every project stage
