About this role
Apotex is a Canadian-based global health company improving everyday access to affordable, innovative medicines and health products. As a Junior Officer in Quality Control Testing, you will perform analysis of in process samples, raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Your daily responsibilities include sampling of materials, analyzing DM and MilliQ water, and updating release or rejected labels. You will also prepare reagent and volumetric solutions, perform standardizations, and monitor temperature for all chambers to ensure compliance with procedures.
You will work within the QC & AO department at Apotex pharmachem India Pvt. Ltd., collaborating as a team member to uphold good laboratory and safety practices. The role demands adherence to EHS policies and involvement in related activities as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum Master degree in science
- Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Control department
- Strong motivational skills to function independently and motivate others
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, solve and troubleshoot problems based on analysis, experience, and judgment
- Excellent understanding of business and supporting technology related to the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of analytical laboratory techniques and instrumentation
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of in process sample, ECVR sample, raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, and finished products as per training qualifications
- Sample packing material, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Sample and analyze DM and MilliQ water
- Update release/rejected labels
- Ensure temperature monitoring for all chambers as per requirements
- Prepare reagent solutions, volumetric solutions, and perform standardization
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and comply with good laboratory and safety practices
- Adhere to EHS policy and procedures in routine activities
