About this role

As a Senior Project Manager at Unispace, you will play an influential role in overseeing complex design and construction projects for workplace and life sciences clients. You will lead large-scale projects from initial planning through close-out, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations at every phase.

Day-to-day, you will serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships while proactively understanding client needs. You will manage all project aspects, from budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to risk management and compliance, creating project plans that balance quality, timeline, and budgetary goals.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration of design, construction, and client requirements, working closely with design and engineering teams. You will also lead site inspections, coordinate with Site Superintendents and subcontractors, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience coordinating with Site Superintendents and subcontractors on construction quality.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale, complex projects from initial planning through close-out, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations at every phase.

Manage and coordinate all project aspects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and compliance.
Facilitate and lead regular client and stakeholder meetings, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and fostering solution-focused communication.
Oversee all subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring performance standards are met and alignment with project specifications and quality benchmarks.
Lead site inspections and coordinate with Site Superintendents and subcontractors to monitor construction quality and maintain health and safety compliance.
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration of design, construction, and client requirements.
Develop and implement project management best practices, enhancing workflow, documentation, and team accountability, while mentoring junior project managers and project engineers.
