Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or similar field or equivalent experience
3 years of relevant laboratory experience with an Associate's degree or 1 year with a Bachelor's degree
Effective written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

Perform specialized molecular biology and genomics experiments focused on DNA sample preparation for sequencing
Participate in experimental design, data interpretation, and troubleshooting of experiments
Use specialized instrumentation such as high-throughput DNA sequencers and automated liquid handlers
Provide technical support and guidance to users of the core facility
