Clinical Pharmacist - Levine Cancer Infusion Pharmacy Float

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our specialized oncology pharmacy team at Levine Cancer Institute. This float position offers the opportunity to work across multiple infusion pharmacy locations, providing critical pharmaceutical care to cancer patients in a state-of-the-art facility.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will oversee comprehensive pharmaceutical care including medication therapy design, patient counseling, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes. You'll work in a dynamic environment with variable shifts including weekends, providing essential services during our extended hours of operation from 6am to 7pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on current biomedical literature
• Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling on medication therapy, adverse effects, and proper administration
• Review and interpret medication orders and prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage formulary adherence and medication-use processes
• Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Prepare, dispense, and oversee proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with regulations
• Mentor and train pharmacy students, residents, and support staff
• Direct and verify the work of pharmacy support team members to ensure safe workflows
