Join the Medical Affairs team as Medical Science Liaison for Cardiorenal portfolio covering Australia nationally. Act as scientific expert, liaising between Bayer and medical community through scientific data discussions.

Establish long-term scientific/strategic relationships with key physicians, medical associations, and academic centres of excellence. Engage Thought Leaders peer-to-peer and contribute to strategic business plans with Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners. Implement Medical Affairs Strategies successfully at field level.

This highly collaborative scientific role drives awareness of cardiorenal products via dissemination and discussion of scientific and clinical data. Answer medical/scientific queries from Medical Societies and HCPs with Medical Information team. Organize advisory boards and medical educational events for physicians in cardiorenal space.

Requirements

Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy
Deep knowledge of cardiorenal therapeutic area including cardiology and nephrology
Experience engaging key opinion leaders and thought leaders peer-to-peer
Strong scientific communication and presentation skills
Understanding of clinical data interpretation and dissemination
Familiarity with medical affairs strategies and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to gather and analyze competitive intelligence

Responsibilities

Establish mutually beneficial relationships with Thought Leaders in Cardiology and related areas
Drive awareness of cardiorenal products through dissemination and discussion of scientific and clinical data
Answer medical/scientific queries of Medical Societies and HCPs with regards to Bayer products in concert with the Medical Information team
Contribute to organization of advisory boards and organise/co-organise medical educational events directed to physicians within the cardiorenal space
Attend congresses and conventions to learn new scientific/clinical data and engage with Thought Leaders
Gather competitive intelligence to inform brand strategy
Plan and organise scientific training and education events/sessions with TLs within cardiorenal therapeutic area
Act as a point of contact for investigators, facilitating interface with investigators and Bayer personnel for study approval, progress, and completion
