Genentech

New York City, US · Internship · $85,000 – $105,000

About this role

Advances in AI, data, and computational sciences are transforming drug discovery at Roche’s gRED and pRED. The Computational Sciences Center of Excellence harnesses this power to assist scientists in delivering innovative medicines. Exceptional interns implement novel ideas with efficient code for high-impact AI4DD projects.

Interns create software and data solutions enabling ML-driven in-silico drug discovery. They contribute to data infrastructure and collaborate on active projects with engineers and scientists. Focus areas include automation, scalable services, and ML infrastructure across Genentech and Roche.

This on-site role in New York involves working in a unified CoE group. Interns develop critical solutions valued by those enthusiastic about scientific software. A biomedical background is beneficial but not required.

The 12-week program offers ownership of business-critical projects. Interns gain hands-on experience with talented biotechnology professionals. A location-based stipend supports participation starting May or June 2026.
