The RWE Sales Specialist drives growth with biopharma customers using Datavant’s real-world evidence solutions, analytics platforms, and services. This role partners with Client Partners for co-selling, account planning, and evidence strategy alignment. Serve as a trusted advisor on real-world data and evidence for regulatory, market access, and HEOR needs.
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while representing the voice of the customer. Ensure Datavant’s offerings meet evolving evidence generation requirements with deep expertise in real-world data and outcomes research. Engage senior stakeholders including heads of HEOR, RWE, Market Access, and Clinical Development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and science teams on tailored RWE proposals. Stay current on RWE market dynamics, regulatory guidance, and competitors to position Datavant as a leader. Requirements
- 10+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or SaaS
- Deep expertise in real-world data, evidence platforms, and outcomes research
- Comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Experience serving as trusted advisor on RWD and RWE for regulatory, market access, and HEOR needs
- Strong understanding of biopharma evidence strategies for regulatory submissions, clinical development, and market access
- Knowledge of FDA and EMA guidance on real-world data and evidence generation
- Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders including heads of HEOR, RWE, Market Access, and Clinical Development
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target new business opportunities in biopharma, healthcare, and life sciences focused on real-world evidence strategies
- Proactively engage prospects via outbound calls, emails, and industry networking to build a robust pipeline of opportunities related to evidence generation and analytics solutions
- Own the full sales process from initial outreach to contract closure, aligning customer evidence needs with RWE offerings including the evidence platform and services
- Present value proposition in RWE and RWD analytics through demonstrations and business cases highlighting regulatory-grade evidence and real-world outcomes
- Partner with marketing, product, and science teams to deliver tailored RWE solution proposals aligned with client strategies and regulatory expectations
- Stay current on RWE market dynamics, regulatory guidance for real-world data, and competitor offerings to position as a strategic leader
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM systems with attention to evidence project cycles and customer expansion
- Identify new and upsell opportunities across territories and accounts, expanding RWE adoption for post-approval studies and market access
