The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the marketing strategy for designated brands within the portfolio.
Day-to-day, this role manages the P&L for assigned brands, ensures costs stay within agreed budgets, and translates strategic plans into annual operating and business plans. The Brand Manager also develops and strengthens relationships with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, pharmacists, suppliers, and partners, to better understand market issues and opportunities.
This role sits within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial commercial team guided by core values: Patients First, Always; Impact Focused; and Team Powered. The team works with urgency and reliability to ensure 70+ life-saving medicines reach patients and clinicians across more than 100 countries.
As SERB continues to grow through selective acquisitions and geographic expansion, the Brand Manager will have the opportunity to influence all facets of sales and marketing within the Commercial Department. This includes contributing to forecasting, sales materials and training, pricing, materials management, and new product development.
Requirements
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies for pharmaceutical or specialty pharma brands
- Ability to manage product life cycles across therapeutic areas such as Neurology, Rare Disease, or CBRN
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and marketing budgets
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including KOLs and healthcare professionals
- Experience working cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, sales, and sales force management teams
- Knowledge of ABPI and ABHI guidelines for compliant marketing materials
- Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable annual operating and business plans
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute defined marketing plans for designated brands with awareness of the broader portfolio to drive maximum revenue
- Manage Product Life Cycle for Neurology, Rare Disease (Epilepsy), Surgical, and CBRN products
- Translate strategic plans for the brand portfolio into annual operating and business plans supported by approved budgets
- Manage P&L for assigned brands to ensure costs are within agreed budget and allocation of spend
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders including KOLs, pharmacists, suppliers, and partners
- Manage relationships with third-party partners including media, creative services, digital services, photography, print, and customer marketing teams
- Ensure training for designated brands is delivered to UK teams as required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, and relevant therapeutic areas
