Requirements

Senior physician-scientist background
Deep expertise in clinical epidemiology
Experience shaping integrated real-world evidence strategies in pharmaceutical portfolio
Knowledge of RWE generation using claims data, EHRs, and post-hoc analyses
Proficiency in advanced methodologies like causal inference and target trial emulation
Ability to lead cross-functional governance bridging development, medical affairs, safety, regulatory, and customer teams
Skills in translating disease understanding into medical narratives for regulatory and payer engagement

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for global real world evidence generation strategies spanning early development through post-launch lifecycle stages
Ensure clinical relevance is embedded across RWE and epidemiology programs
Partner with Clinical Development for natural history insights, unmet medical need, and differentiation strategy
Establish and lead enterprise RWE strategy supporting effectiveness, safety, utilization, adherence, and economic outcomes
Oversee RWE studies leveraging claims, EHRs, post hoc analysis and other RWD
Advance innovative methodologies including causal inference, target trial emulation, hybrid trial designs, and digital biomarkers
Lead clinical epidemiology strategy supporting development, safety, and value decision-making
Oversee incidence, prevalence, morbidity, mortality, and real world burden-of-illness analyses
