About this role

We are recruiting a Market Access & Pricing Lead based at our global headquarters in Meyrin, Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development & Alliance Management, your mission is to define and implement access and pricing strategies for OM Pharma's existing and pipeline products.

In this role, you will stay abreast of international payer landscapes and evolving healthcare trends to guide strategic decisions for business development, pipeline optimization, and lifecycle management. You will gain a thorough understanding of patient journeys and healthcare system structures to inform access strategies and input business cases.

You will evaluate and optimize existing pricing and reimbursement statuses at the country level, identify actionable opportunities, and ensure global pricing governance. Your work involves close collaboration with local commercial partners, global cross-functional teams, and external agencies to convert clinical and real-world evidence into payer and HCP/patient relevant value arguments.

This position operates within a small team of three, offering direct exposure to senior leadership. Business travel is required approximately 15% of the time. You will contribute to a culture of innovation and growth while driving meaningful change in a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment.

Requirements

  • Master or PhD in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Management or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, covering market access, patient access, government affairs, public policy, patient advocacy, pricing, or reimbursement
  • At least 3 years of experience in global market access roles
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience in key markets (US, China, Europe) with exposure to formal payer negotiations and involvement in product launch activities, particularly in the US market
  • Ability to synthesize and convey complex data models on outcomes (especially quality of life or economic) to all customers/stakeholders
  • Business fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin and a European language (French, Spanish) an asset
  • Open to travel up to 15% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global market access strategy, pinpointing strategic imperatives and priorities for geographic expansion and pipeline development
  • Stay abreast of international payer landscapes, healthcare trends, policies, and guidelines to guide strategic decisions for business development and lifecycle management
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the patient journey and healthcare system structures to inform access strategies and input business cases
  • Evaluate and optimize existing pricing and reimbursement statuses at the country level, identifying opportunities and margin enhancement levers through price-sensitivity studies or desk research
  • Ensure global pricing governance, including international reference pricing alignment and support for local pricing decisions
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with payers, policymakers, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups
  • In collaboration with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Marketing and external agencies, convert clinical and real-world evidence into payer and HCP/patient relevant value arguments
  • Travel up to 15% of working time for business needs
