The MSL acts as scientific expert between Bayer and the medical community, disseminating oncology data. Builds long-term scientific relationships with influential physicians, scientists, and stakeholders. Requires 80% field work with travel availability; prefers Curitiba/PR.

Day-to-day involves providing medical education to KOLs and HCPs per local regulations. Contributes to DSO product/client teams on 90-day results. Collaborates with Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing to translate insights into patient care improvements.

Generates insights by segmenting KOLs and sharing external medical data for strategies. Plans advisory boards and medical education events in compliance. Supports investigator-initiated research as key contact, with transversal autonomy and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Scientific and clinical expertise in oncology disease area
  • Ability to establish long-term scientific and strategic relationships with KOLs and stakeholders
  • Availability for 80% field work with extensive travel
  • Knowledge of local regulations for medical information dissemination
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills in pharma environment
  • Insight generation from external medical community
  • Experience planning compliant medical education and advisory boards
  • Facilitation of investigator-initiated research processes

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and medical societies, providing medical information and education per local regulations
  • Provide timely clinical data updates, study information, and real-world evidence to relevant external parties
  • Contribute as permanent member of local product/client teams, delivering 90-day results in DSO mode
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Marketing to translate insights into actions improving patient care
  • Identify and segment KOLs and key stakeholders; collect, synthesize, and share external medical/scientific insights
  • Act as trusted clinical partner internally, contributing to multifunctional initiatives and scientific training
  • Plan and conduct medical education events and advisory boards aligned with country medical plans and compliance
  • Serve as point of contact for investigator-initiated research, facilitating proposals and scientific communication
