About this role

Chiesi seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the AIR business unit to join the Benelux affiliate. This role lets you elevate scientific expertise to impact patients, healthcare professionals, and respiratory care. As MSL, serve as the face of Chiesi in the field, managing relationships with customers. Deliver medical-scientific messages and gather medical, market, and competitor insights. Identify opportunities and optimize knowledge of products and their market position.

Engage leading local and international experts in respiratory therapeutics, with up to 70% travel. Organize theme meetings, advisory boards, and training sessions. Build customer-centric relationships in a hybrid model fostering team collaboration through offsite events.

Requirements

  • Scientific expertise in respiratory care and AIR therapeutic areas
  • Familiarity with clinical trends and developments in pharmaceutical products
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data
  • Knowledge of medical information handling and competitor insights
  • Proficiency in organizing advisory boards and educational sessions
  • Field-based experience in pharmaceutical industry relationships

Responsibilities

  • Engage with leading local and international experts in therapeutic area, with travel up to 70% of the time
  • Maintain scientific knowledge of clinical trends and developments in products and strategic indication areas
  • Organize theme meetings, journal clubs, advisory boards, and internal/external training sessions
  • Translate scientific information into practices, share data with physicians, and discuss data analysis
  • Handle external and internal questions, claims, projects, and events relating to products and therapeutic areas
  • Identify, build, and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Obtain insights into changing needs of healthcare providers and implement solutions benefiting customers and Chiesi
  • Participate in scientific congresses and symposiums representing Chiesi
