About this role
A leading global pharmaceutical brand seeks an experienced Medical Writer (Remote) for a consensus initiative on molecular biomarker testing in late-stage hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. The role demands strong medical writing experience in consensus development within the APAC region. Excellent project management skills are essential for success.
Day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive literature reviews on molecular biomarkers in HR+/HER2– breast cancer. Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to draft evidence-based expert consensus statements. Manage correspondence via iHCP platforms and handle contracts effectively.
Track project timelines to meet milestones and facilitate virtual meetings, including pre-meeting briefings and consensus discussions. Work in a dynamic environment engaging medical experts and stakeholders across APAC. Coordinate end-to-end delivery from literature review to final submission.
Develop the final publication manuscript and manage journal submission. Gain exposure to oncology-focused projects with KOLs. Advance skills in consensus writing and project management in pharmaceutical initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in consensus writing with a focus on the APAC region
- Strong project management skills particularly in KOL engagement, including iHCP and contracts
- Experience delivering end-to-end medical writing projects, from literature review through to journal submission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with the client, medical experts, and other key stakeholders
- Ideally with experience in oncology or pathology
Responsibilities
