Join us at our new pharmaceutical aseptic fill&finish facility in Stein, AG, Switzerland. As a Postdoc / Trainee on a 2-year fixed-term contract, qualify cutting-edge biotechnology equipment as part of a large and complex growth project. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

Work in a dynamic environment where flexibility and quick adaptation to changing plans are key. Support project teams on complex topics using scientific and statistical expertise, collaborating across functions. Assist in setting project goals, including FAT, PQ, validation activities, SOPs, and recipes.

Drive technical improvements by executing process enhancements and troubleshooting issues. Provide frontline shopfloor support, working closely with operators for safe, timely, compliant batch execution. Lead investigations, deviations, and complaint handling with scientific analysis.

Requirements

  • Keen to gain first work experience in a cutting-edge pharmaceutical aseptic fill&finish facility and eager to learn
  • MSc or PhD in Biotechnology, Biotech Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent field
  • Happy to work in an aseptic environment with strict gowning regulations: no facial piercings, makeup, nail varnish or similar items
  • Fluency in English is a must; fluency in German is a plus
  • First experience in a pharmaceutical production environment or in a GMP environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams on complex topics using scientific and statistical expertise, collaborating across project functions and Drug Product Services
  • Assist the Syringes Manufacturing Head Dolphin in setting, prioritizing, and achieving project and DPS goals, including FAT, PQ, validation activities, SOPs, and recipes
  • Drive technical improvements by executing process enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring technical batches generate process knowledge through testing critical variables
  • Provide frontline shopfloor support by working closely with operators in the fill&finish facility to ensure safe, timely, compliant batch execution
  • Lead product and process-related investigations, deviations, and complaint handling using scientific and statistical analysis
  • Manage CAPAs and Trackwise actions, support audits, and deliver training for new processes and products
