About this role
The Career Conversion Program (CCP) training period lasts 15 months with structured on-the-job training at Lonza. MSAT Tech Transfer Group is responsible for technology transfer of customer manufacturing processes into the Singapore production facility. Trainees support lead project engineers in this critical New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
Tech transfer support creates and manages documents including gap assessments, process documents, and risk assessments related to NPI. They assist with change control procedures to introduce new process requirements to the site. Responsibilities also include management and improvement of process document templates.
Trainees collaborate closely with lead project engineers for process design implementation. Cross-functional collaboration occurs with MFG, QC, QA, ENG, and customers. Close coordination with the global MSAT group supports project rollout to the site.
Trainees attain technical knowledge of cGMP requirements, tech transfer, and biologics product lifecycle. They gain understanding of cell culture and purification processes plus systems expertise in LIMS, Trackwise, and document management. A continuous improvement mindset is developed through operational excellence training and suggestion implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, biological science, or biotechnology
- No prior working experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing encouraged as training provided
- Detail-oriented to work on documentation
- Positive team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions
- Able to work independently to perform routine tasks with established procedures
Responsibilities
