Formulation Scientist

The Formulation Scientist develops formulas and manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products until transfer to production facilities, based on the assigned product development strategy. This role ensures alignment with overall product development goals. Responsibilities span from lab trials to commercial validation.

Daily activities include proposing individual Balance Score Card (BSC) plans and budgets to superiors while monitoring achievements. Design lab trial activities at Dexa Development Center, covering trial design, raw material needs, timelines, document preparation, result evaluation, and documentation.

Perform technical transfers of developed formulas and processes. Conduct commercial process trials or validations at production sites, including raw material shipping, critical information sharing, material and machine verification, active batch production involvement with troubleshooting, coordination, and result recaps.

Engage in internal and external audits, improvement projects, work guidance documents, and organizational development programs. Mentor junior scientists or research assistants as assigned. Travel 1-3 times annually to DXM Palembang supports site activities.
