About this role
BioScript Solutions seeks a dedicated Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist for Patient Support Programs, putting patients first. This role manages specific projects or cases in patient reimbursement and coordination for the NavieGo branch. In collaboration with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist, serve as the one point of contact for assigned health care providers.
Coordinate and manage all aspects to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients. Liaise with insurance companies, physicians' offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions. Handle documents, submissions, and paperwork for insurance and public/federal funding programs.

Requirements
- Bilingualism - English/French - required
- Prior experience in a reimbursement role (strong asset)
- Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry (asset)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Word, Excel, Google apps)
- Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner
- Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Manage specific projects or cases assigned in patient reimbursement and coordination
- Coordinate all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
- Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physicians' offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions
- Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
- Foster and build relationships with key clinics
- Coordinate with pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
