The Medical Science Liaison serves as a scientific expert and trusted resource to healthcare professionals in the Northwest territory.

This field-based role focuses on scientific exchange, education, and insight generation to support Galderma’s aesthetic innovation goals. The MSL executes territory-level medical strategies and provides clinical and scientific support for product launches. All engagements with key opinion leaders and stakeholders remain fully compliant.

Daily activities include building peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, aesthetic injectors, and HCPs. The role involves delivering balanced scientific presentations, supporting educational initiatives like speaker programs, and participating in congresses. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and regional commercial leadership ensures aligned execution.

Requirements

  • Advanced Scientific Degree: MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or DNP preferred; other relevant degrees with experience
  • Minimum 2 years in Medical Affairs; prior MSL experience strongly preferred
  • Strong background in dermatology, injectable aesthetics, or similar areas preferred
  • Proven success in supporting product launches and data dissemination to HCPs
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills; solution-oriented and adaptable
  • Solid understanding of FDA, HIPAA, OIG, and other US regulatory principles
  • Strong scientific and clinical knowledge paired with business insight
  • Ability to travel up to 70–80% within territory and for national congresses

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, aesthetic injectors, and other HCPs
  • Deliver balanced scientific presentations and respond to unsolicited medical information requests
  • Support educational initiatives, including speaker programs and training events
  • Collect and communicate actionable field insights to inform medical strategy and evidence generation
  • Document interactions and insights in compliance with company SOPs using platforms like Veeva
  • Implement territory plans aligned with national medical strategy
  • Participate in congresses and scientific meetings to support exchange and glean industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional commercial leadership for compliant execution
