About this role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all areas comply with regulatory requirements and uphold stringent cleanliness protocols to guarantee product safety and quality.
Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and maintaining buildings and facilities, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, and notifying the manager about needed repairs. You will also clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment, and move cabinets, boxes, and furniture to clean areas.
You will work closely with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships. The environment is a GMP-regulated cleanroom setting within the pharmaceutical industry, requiring strict adherence to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in cleaning within a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
- Customer service experience preferred
- 1 year of similar work experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain buildings and facilities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Gather and empty trash, and service, clean, and supply restrooms
