About this role

This Quality Assurance Assistant role supports batch testing coordination and data management for Shiseido's operations in Seoul. The position ensures accurate record-keeping and timely communication with internal teams and the regional office.

Daily tasks include arranging batch testing schedules with LAB and SCM, updating QA data in SAP and Excel, and notifying brands and supply chain of test status. The role also involves reporting quality issues to the regional office and following up on resolutions.

The assistant works closely with cross-functional teams including brands, supply chain, and laboratory staff to ensure product quality. This contract role offers valuable exposure to quality assurance processes in the beauty and pharmaceutical industry.

This six-month contract provides an opportunity to develop skills in quality systems and regulatory compliance. Successful candidates may gain experience that supports future career advancement in the pharmaceutical or cosmetics sector.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Relevant work experience in the beauty, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Korean language proficiency (native or fluent)
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems

Responsibilities

Coordinate batch testing schedules with LAB and SCM
Manage QA data in SAP, internal QA systems, and Excel to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
Notify relevant stakeholders, including Brands and SCM, of test status
Report quality issues to the regional office and follow up on reported issues
Assist in maintaining quality documentation and standard operating procedures
Support internal audits and inspections as needed
