About this role
Inspector is responsible for validating process adherence on both the component and subsequent paperwork to the work instructions and all relevant specifications. This role confirms that manufacturing outputs meet customer and internal requirements through detailed checks.
Perform tasks such as dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and generate C of C in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications. Additional duties may include chemical testing, assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumble, blending, peen, grit blast, masking, vane install, and CMM operation.
Performs all work in accordance with plant safety rules while maintaining highest quality standards. Inspector prepares necessary quality documents and confirms quality of own work using inspection tools aligned with product specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
Inspector adheres to all 5s and CPEX policies with a continuous improvement mindset. The position requires routine preventative maintenance on machines and other labor tasks to support production flow as needed.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required with strong shop mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
- Ability to follow instructions and read and interpret blueprints.
- 3-5 years on-the-job experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must successfully pass background investigations, drug screens, and skills assessments.
- US persons only (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or approved political asylee/refugee status).
