About this role
The Medical Affairs Analytics, Metrics & Innovation Director assists and drives execution of the Medical Affairs and Outcomes Research (MAOR) vision. Leads core initiatives including data innovation and strategy, annual planning process, and creation and monitoring of reports and dashboards for key functions. This position is 100% remote in the US.
Actively contributes to special projects across regions and functions to improve MAOR execution. Develops analytics tools and uses visualization technology to deliver business intelligence to leadership. Oversees communication of emerging project status, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Drives creation and tracking of key performance indicators and metrics for impact reports and annual planning. Develops strategies from KPI findings to address gaps and opportunities. Monitors reports and dashboards across Medical Affairs functions while evangelizing new tools for headquarters and field personnel.
Serves as MAOR point of contact for cross-collaborative digital initiatives company-wide. Leads the digital team, maintains inventory of key resources, and oversees complex global initiatives aligned with strategy. Presents strategic updates at leadership meetings, exhibiting executive presence and deep expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required
- Relevant business experience, ideally within biopharmaceuticals or Medical Affairs
- Experience planning and executing innovative projects
- Experience working within regulations and compliance
- Ability to develop strategies based on KPI findings to address gaps and opportunities
- Proficiency in creating actionable and relevant metrics with defined collection processes
- Expertise in analytics tools and data visualization for business intelligence
- Demonstrated executive presence, subject matter expertise, and business acumen
