This role empowers commercial teams and veterinary clients through expert education, evidence-based insights, and collaborative communication. Focus on disease state awareness, diagnosis, and management, particularly cardiovascular conditions in companion animals. Serve as a clinical leader and trusted advisor to business leadership on products and pipeline.

Work closely with cross-functional field teams including Sales Force Leadership and Professional Service Veterinarians. Mentor to achieve aligned clinical and commercial goals at regional and territory levels. Travel up to 75% to represent the organization in diverse forums from small discussions to major conferences.

Grow through employee-owner stock option plan and shared commitment to advancing animal health. Build relationships with general practitioners, specialists, academic institutions, and industry leaders. Contribute to confident, informed decision-making that elevates patient care in the veterinary specialty pharmaceutical market.

Requirements

  • Advanced clinical expertise in veterinary medicine with focus on cardiovascular conditions affecting companion animals
  • Experience in disease state awareness, diagnosis, and management education for veterinarians
  • Proven ability to serve as subject matter expert for veterinary professionals and key opinion leaders
  • Strong skills in delivering evidence-based product information and best-practice medicine
  • Capability to mentor sales and professional service teams on clinical and commercial alignment
  • Public speaking experience at national and international veterinary conferences
  • Established professional relationships in veterinary and pharmaceutical industry networks

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted clinical advisor and subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders including employee-owners, veterinary professionals, key opinion leaders, and corporate partners
  • Communicate objective, evidence-based product information and best-practice medicine to support treatment guidelines, brand strategies, and business objectives
  • Mentor Sales Force Leadership and Professional Service Veterinarians to achieve aligned clinical and commercial goals at regional and territory levels
  • Represent the organization as a credible and engaging speaker across forums from small-group discussions to national and international conferences on unmet disease states in companion animal medicine
  • Build and sustain strong professional relationships with general practitioners, specialists, academic institutions, and industry leaders
  • Provide strategic input on commercialized products and future development pipeline
  • Actively participate in professional and specialty organizations through committee involvement and board service
