Axsome seeks a Medical Science Liaison/Senior MSL focused on developing the ADA franchise. This role serves as a key Field Medical Affairs team member and primary communicator of Axsome science. Execute the national medical affairs plan within a specified territory.

This field-based position covers the Plains Region including IL, MO, NE, KS, IA. Candidates must reside within the geography to support regional activities effectively. Provide needed support for other pipeline programs.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as PharmD, MD, or PhD in relevant scientific field
  • Experience in Medical Science Liaison role within CNS or neurology
  • In-depth knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, agitation, and therapeutics
  • Strong ability to communicate complex scientific information
  • Proven engagement skills with healthcare professionals and KOLs
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Plains Region territory
  • Reside within geography of IL, MO, NE, KS, IA

Responsibilities

  • Develop the ADA franchise
  • Serve as primary communicator of Axsome science
  • Execute the national medical affairs plan within specified territory
  • Provide support for other pipeline programs
  • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders in Alzheimer's and CNS
  • Deliver scientific presentations and information to healthcare professionals
  • Gather field insights on Alzheimer's agitation to inform strategy
  • Support medical education and investigator-initiated research
