Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or patient support environment
- Bilingual French-English (spoken and written) – required
- Experience in patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, or pharmaceutical reimbursement
- Prior experience with public and private insurers in Canada
Responsibilities
- Enroll patients into McKesson Specialty patient support programs quickly and accurately
- Manage reimbursement cases from initial receipt to treatment access
- Proactively follow up on patient cases to ensure timely renewals and continuous coverage
- Communicate with patients, public/private insurers, and prescribers to obtain reimbursement documentation
- Perform financial assessments to determine patient eligibility for aid programs
- Explore coverage options and escalate to employers or payers as needed
- Collaborate with specialty and retail pharmacies to ensure rapid medication access
- Handle incoming/outgoing patient and stakeholder requests via phone, email, and fax
