Medical Science Liaisons act as information scientists and colleagues to Thought Leaders (TLs – Doctors). Plan, prepare, and engage with TLs proactively and reactively using innovative tactics and formats. Disseminate, clarify, and educate on scientific data, study protocols, abstracts, and literature per regulations. Answer medical/scientific queries from Medical Societies on Bayer products.

Organize, support, and participate in advisory boards while attending congresses and conventions. Network with TLs, establish contacts, and gather competitive intelligence. Coordinate scientific training and education events with TLs in specific therapeutic areas.

Contribute to TL identification, profiling, segmentation, and engagement planning aligned with Medical Affairs. Submit timely reports tracking activities against objectives. Embrace Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) for higher productivity, faster innovation, and better results.

Requirements

Qualification in natural sciences, or Medical background (MD/MBBS/BAMS/BDS/MDS)
Basic knowledge of the concerned therapy area and related molecules
Basic understanding of clinical trials, their design, and rationale
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Build productive work relationships both internally and externally
Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Answer medical/scientific queries of Medical Societies regarding Bayer products

Plan and organize scientific training and education events/sessions with TLs
Contribute to TL identification, profiling, segmentation, and engagement planning per Medical Affairs plan
Submit timely reports and track activities against agreed objectives
