In the role of Medical Affairs Intern, you will assist in the development and implementation of novel key opinion leader (KOL) management and engagement program. You will work alongside experienced medical affairs team members and engage in medical writing to support scientific exchange with healthcare providers and publications.

Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to the technical and clinical community, such as journal clubs. Develop and apply scientific expertise to advance clinical practice, collaborating with external stakeholders. Support the design and implementation of ongoing training for sales, marketing, and medical affairs team members.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related field
  • Understanding of key opinion leader (KOL) management and engagement strategies
  • Proficiency in medical and scientific writing for healthcare providers and publications
  • Knowledge of regulatory inquiries and documentation in pharmaceutical medical affairs
  • Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Availability to work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays
  • Interest in advancing clinical practice through scientific exchange

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of novel key opinion leader (KOL) management and engagement program
  • Engage in medical writing to support scientific exchange with healthcare providers, including on and off-label conversations
  • Support responses to regulatory inquiries and draft manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
  • Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to technical and clinical community, such as journal clubs
  • Develop and apply scientific expertise to advance clinical practice and collaborate with external stakeholders to co-create solutions for improved patient care
  • Support the design and implementation of ongoing training for sales, marketing, and medical affairs team members
  • Complete projects as assigned and present deliverables to a multi-functional team
