As Director of Trade Strategy in US Market Access, serve as subject matter expert on channel strategies and distribution networks for in-line and pipeline assets. Drive recommendations to executive leadership and lead implementation with Trade Account and Operations Teams. Spearhead new product channel strategies amid market dynamics like Alternate Site of Care and Telehealth. Stay abreast of trends and inform key internal partners including Brand, Managed Markets and Finance.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Government Affairs, Legal and Trade Operations. Identify metrics and KPIs to monitor wholesalers, specialty distributors and digital health partners. Report to Sr. Director, Trade and Market Access, based on-site three days weekly in Foster City.

Requirements
- Deep expertise in pharmaceutical channel strategies and distribution networks
- Knowledge of wholesalers, specialty distributors, retail/specialty pharmacies and digital health partners
- Familiarity with market disruptors such as Alternate Site of Care, Telehealth and Direct-To-Patient models
- Experience developing trade strategies for in-line and pipeline pharmaceutical assets
- Proficiency in defining KPIs and metrics for distribution performance monitoring
- Background in RFP processes, vendor selection and NDC management
- Ability to generate insights from primary research and data analytics for strategic planning
Responsibilities
- Serve as internal point-of-contact and trade strategy subject matter expert for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Stay abreast of key new trends including market disruptors like Alternate Site of Care, Telehealth, Home Health and Direct-To-Patient, informing partners
- Spearhead new product channel and distribution strategies and modifications based on market dynamics, leading RFP development and vendor selection
- Identify portfolio and product-specific service metrics and KPIs to monitor performance of distribution networks including wholesalers, specialty distributors and pharmacies
- Develop mature product channel strategy and manage new and discontinued NDC with Trade Account, Contracts, Operations and Regulatory
- Lead strategic insights generation via primary research and data analytics to inform long-term plans
- Support Trade Account teams in negotiation and execution of channel contracts within strategy guidelines
