Molecular Science Liaisons communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence to external clients like physicians and Key Opinion Leaders in oncology. This involves face-to-face discussions with approximately 80% travel throughout the assigned region. They gather and evaluate published literature to stay current on drug/biomarker associations.

Serve as a conduit of information between the medical community and Caris regarding products, research developments, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches. Present clinical data at physician sites, conferences, roundtables, grand rounds, and tumor boards. Promote CMI and educate clients in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • M.D. or Ph.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology or equivalent training and experience
  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) to support and engage clients in all meetings, presentations, and correspondence
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% throughout assigned region
  • Knowledge of drug/biomarker associations in oncology
  • Experience communicating with Key Opinion Leaders in oncology
  • Ability to evaluate published literature and attend relevant conferences
  • Successful completion of pre-employment process including criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Act as a conduit of information/feedback between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences regarding current products and needs to enhance patient care
  • Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences within assigned region or nationally
  • Promote CMI to physician sites across the assigned territory
  • Read and understand the scientific and technical literature to maintain knowledge of the therapeutic oncology field
  • Assist in field training contracted speakers as part of the Caris Speaker's Bureau
  • Function as a field trainer of assigned region to provide an extension of our Director of Training
  • Conduct regional speaking engagements (Roundtables, Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards) with physicians
  • Attend select regional and national tradeshows and sales meetings to promote CMI
