As a Medical Science Liaison covering North Texas, serve as a conduit of information between Amgen and the medical community. Provide disease state and product information to healthcare professionals and researchers. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and research teams to implement strategies and initiatives.
Engage healthcare partners including APPs, fellows, and residents by communicating clinical and scientific data. Educate payers, providers, and key collaborators on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data. Work in an award-winning culture that is collaborative, innovative, and science-based.
Implement scientific engagement plans aligned with annual MSL goals and support Amgen-sponsored research. Lead project teams, congress activities, and speaker training while maintaining clinical expertise. Requirements
- Advanced clinical or scientific knowledge in bone health therapeutics
- Experience engaging key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of payer reimbursement, formulary processes, and IDN dynamics
- Ability to interpret and communicate clinical, outcomes, and economic value evidence
- Proficiency in scientific exchange compliant with MSL standards
- Field-based experience providing medical information to researchers
- Knowledge of investigator-sponsored studies and research protocols
Responsibilities
- Engage and educate healthcare partners by communicating clinical and scientific data to advance Amgen’s scientific platform
- Educate payers, providers, key collaborators, advocacy, and access enablers on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
- Provide in-depth clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards
- Provide field observations and insights to internal partners
- Implement scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metrics
- Support speaker training and ensure speakers are updated on new data
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and educate potential investigators on submission processes
