Requirements

Advanced knowledge of study design, statistical analysis strategies, and data collection procedures
Expertise in statistical power analysis, sample size determination, and randomization schemes
Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or equivalent
Experience in interdisciplinary health research, preferably in child health or related fields
Ability to consult and advise researchers on methodological approaches
Strong organizational skills for coordinating study forms, instruments, and protocols

Responsibilities

Consult and advise researchers on study design, statistical analysis strategies, reliability, and data collection procedures
Oversee statistical power and sample size determinations for proposed studies
Design and coordinate randomization schemes for clinical and observational studies
Oversee the development of study forms, instruments, measurement protocols, and equipment
Perform statistical analyses using appropriate software and interpret results for research teams
Prepare statistical reports, tables, and figures for grant proposals, manuscripts, and presentations
Collaborate with principal investigators to ensure data integrity and adherence to study protocols
Provide guidance on statistical methodology and best practices to junior team members
