About this role

Tech Transfer Support roles involve learning and performing well-defined procedures within a GMP manufacturing setting. Key tasks include equipment monitoring, basic 6S housekeeping, and routine sanitization to maintain facility standards. This position supports pharmaceutical production through precise operational execution.

Daily responsibilities encompass basic laboratory tasks such as sampling, pH, conductivity, and osmolality measurements. Demonstrate aseptic technique when handling products and materials, while performing basic process and equipment troubleshooting. Multi-task on equipment preparations and operations to adhere to production schedules.

Work follows a 12-hour rotating shift in a 2-2, 3-2, 2-3 pattern, with day/night rotation every two months over an 8-month duration. Team members collaborate on manual labor, including pushing 1000L pallet tanks or charging 12kg raw material powder bags. Own transport is preferable for commuting.

Use SOPs, logbooks, Batch Records for operations, and submit samples via LIMS. Get trained and signed off on Performance Measures for CIP/SIP, tank, and instrument operations. Build practical skills in a biotech manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Process engineering
  • 1-2 years experience in Biotech Industry or any related experience
  • Competent in analyzing complex situations and show practical problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external teams
