Engineering is vital to making sure customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. Working with Pfizer’s innovative engineering team, you'll help bring medicines to the world even faster by imagining what’s possible and taking action. Your role supports manufacturing processes, maintenance, and reliability.
You will develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. Production engineering skills enable recommending and implementing improvements or modifications to solve problems. Review product requirements for development compatibility and optimum production costs and schedules.
Lead product manufacturing campaigns from production start through material release, providing technical supervision on quality and EHS. Deploy IMEx way of working for operations, problem solving, escalations, and continuous improvements. Contribute to becoming the best in class manufacturing site producing highest quality products safely.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge contributes to team goals and meeting critical deliverables. Innovative communication explains difficult issues and builds consensus between teams. Hard work and dedication make Pfizer ready for new milestones, helping patients across the globe.
Requirements
- Production engineering skills for developing process formulations, methods, and controls
- Ability to recommend and implement manufacturing improvements and modifications
- Knowledge of quality standards, EHS regulations, and GMP compliance
- Proficiency in process control systems, recipes, and models
- Experience investigating and troubleshooting manufacturing deviations
- Understanding of good data management principles (ALCOA) and data integrity
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment and GMP systems ownership
- Proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement, and preventive measures
Responsibilities
- Lead product manufacturing campaigns from start to completion, providing technical supervision on quality and EHS
- Develop Manufacturing/Operating Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot process control system recipes/models
- Investigate, report, and troubleshoot quality and EHS issues during manufacturing or batch review
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust preventive measures for processing issues
- Proactively monitor, identify, develop, and implement improvements in processes and equipment
- Communicate process updates regularly to plant personnel
- Train process technicians on processes and procedures
