The GMP Cleaner I maintains a clean working environment meeting GMP standards in our Somerset facility.

This role coordinates and performs all required daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings for rooms and critical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include organizing storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items, and re-stocking supplies. The position supports first shift operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment regulated by GMP standards preferred
At least two years of relevant cleaning experience preferred
GMP experience preferred
High attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift operations preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment
Organize storage areas and conduct routine inventory of consumable items
Re-stock supplies as needed
Complete GMP documentation including records and logbooks
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities
Clean and sanitize core operations equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
Conduct thorough area cleaning in all production areas on a daily basis
Clean walls, floors, tables, countertops, equipment, and perform miscellaneous duties as required
