The QC Analyst performs Physical, Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, and ICP testing on raw materials and bulks in the Quality Laboratory.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting tests per Standard Test Methods and compendial methods, operating instruments like NIR, FTIR, UV, Karl Fischer, and HPLC. Prepare solutions and suspensions for essential procedures while maintaining accurate records per cGMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles. Report any out-of-specification results or deviations immediately to supervisors.

Requirements
- University degree B.Sc. (Chemistry), 2-year science diploma, or combination of equivalent education and previous practical experience
- Minimum of 1 year laboratory related experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or related environment
- Knowledge of cGMP/GDP and regulatory requirements
- Good technical skills with high level of accuracy
- Ability to operate laboratory instruments including HPLC, GC, and ICP
- Familiarity with wet chemistry and spectroscopy testing
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing according to relevant Standard Test Methods (STM) and compendial methods
- Perform wet chemistry and spectroscopy testing on raw materials and bulk products
- Perform chemical identification of raw materials and bulk products per approved analytical procedures
- Operate NIR, FTIR, UV, Karl Fischer, Hardness Analyzer, Disintegration, Dissolution, HPLC, GC, and ICP
- Prepare solutions and suspensions to perform essential laboratory procedures
- Keep accurate and complete records of all tests per cGMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles
- Report any OOS or deviation to supervisor immediately
- Assist with OOS investigations and adhere to all safety requirements in the QC Lab
