About this role

In a context of growing demand for accessible health services and increased requirements for innovation in medical devices, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) functions play a key strategic role. The Real-World Evidence (RWE) Intern, a Master 2 student, joins the RWE EMEA team within Boston Scientific's HEMA EMEA department.

Contributes to RWE projects by mobilizing knowledge of health systems and health data, as well as technical, analytical, and research skills, in line with regional and divisional priorities. The internship includes developing and using health data analysis tools across the Boston Scientific portfolio and various therapeutic areas.

Engages in epidemiological analyses, target population definitions, descriptive analyses, health-economic models, dashboards, and internal tools for HEMA and commercial teams. Collaborates closely with the EMEA team on local and regional RWE initiatives.

Handles data analysis, monitoring, and valorization through regular reporting and ad hoc analyses. Supports financial analyses and model adaptations evaluating technology impacts on health system actors, while preparing reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Master 2 student in health economics, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health systems management, data science or related field
  • Good knowledge of the health sector and reimbursement methodologies in hospital and outpatient settings
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and mastery of data query and analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, filters, VLOOKUP)
  • Ability to develop dashboards, reports, and tools based on health data
  • Knowledge of statistics appreciated
  • Native French speaker and good English level (B2 minimum)
  • Proactive, engaged, rigorous, with good team spirit

Responsibilities

  • Participate in local and EMEA RWE projects in collaboration with the team
  • Ensure analysis, monitoring, and valorization of data via regular reporting and ad hoc analyses
  • Contribute to financial analyses and adaptation of models evaluating technology impacts on health system actors
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, data cubes, and dashboards
  • Prepare syntheses, reports, and analytical deliverables
  • Participate in preparation of internal presentations and/or for clients
