About this role
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Sanofi in Waterford. Provide leadership and support to operations teams to ensure appropriate standards are met. Develop and implement improvement initiatives in all manufacturing and development operations. Note this is a shift role 24/7 (2 days/2 nights/4 off).
This cross-functional role offers a unique opportunity to improve production output by integrating efficiency and improvement initiatives into process and equipment. It serves as a natural progression for individuals with experience in Manufacturing or Engineering Team leadership roles. Carry out repair and maintenance tasks on Process and Facilities Equipment in compliance with cGMP.

Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a Multi-skilled Team environment
- 2 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a pharmaceutical-manufacturing environment
- Technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing technology
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with cGMP Standards and Safety protocols
- Experience with Maintenance PM Systems
Responsibilities
- Carry out repair and maintenance tasks of all Process and/or Facilities Equipment to achieve production output in compliance with Quality, Safety, and cGMP Standards
- Input data into Maintenance PM System including operation of such systems
- Work with own initiative and assume responsibility whenever the need arises
- Train others on equipment, maintenance tasks, set up procedures, and safety awareness
- Support team in achieving goals and targets; back up facilities and manufacturing maintenance teams
- Actively contribute to continuous improvements across the plant
- Conduct all maintenance duties safely, report safety issues, adhere to cGMP and PPE rules
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time; communicate equipment issues via email
