About this role

We are seeking a highly experienced sales and business development professional to drive growth across Commercial, Real-World Evidence (RWE), Clinical, Regulatory, and Safety research services within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. This role identifies, develops, and closes complex, large-scale engagements. It aligns client needs with integrated research, consulting, and data solutions.

Serve as a trusted strategic partner, navigating stakeholder ecosystems across Commercial, Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Safety, and HEOR functions. Work with Oracle’s unified account team to grow solutions across accounts. Set and execute account-specific business plans and sales strategies for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Own the full sales cycle including pipeline development, forecasting, account planning, strategy, negotiation, and deal closure. Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities in commercial primary market research, RWE/HEOR studies, clinical research, natural history studies, and disease registries. Assess client objectives, evidence gaps, and decision-making timelines to propose tailored solutions.

Lead development of complex, high-value proposals with subject matter experts. Build and expand long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across key functions. Act as senior sponsor on engagements, ensuring alignment from sale through delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in sales or business development within life sciences, pharmaceutical research, consulting, or healthcare data services
  • Demonstrated experience selling Commercial market research and consulting
  • Demonstrated experience selling Real-World Evidence / HEOR solutions
  • Demonstrated experience selling Clinical research and post-approval studies
  • Demonstrated experience selling Regulatory and Safety studies
  • Deep understanding of the drug development and commercialization lifecycle
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and strong track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals

  • Lead development of complex, high-value proposals in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Develop compelling value propositions and client presentations
  • Build, manage, and expand long-term relationships with senior-level stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Safety organizations
