About this role

The Sr. Global Business Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day business operations and manufacturing-facing systems across the External Manufacturing network. This individual contributor role focuses on operational execution in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. It enables compliant manufacturing, packaging, and supply across Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).

Daily tasks include managing master data collection workflows with cross-functional SMEs in External Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain. Serve as support point for systems questions from end users, triaging issues. Assist in data validation, reporting cycles using Power BI and Excel, and maintaining operational data accuracy.

Work in a hybrid model (approx. 50% onsite) at Madison, NJ (Giralda Farms) with Monday–Friday standard hours and 5–10% local travel. Partner with Manager, Process and Systems, GBO Lead, and Sr. Director. Support documentation of processes, procedures, and training materials.

Suited for professionals with hands-on experience supporting operations or systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Understand data, systems, and workflows on the manufacturing floor and external supply networks. Track system enhancements and prioritized requests to increase process visibility.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience supporting operations, systems, or reporting within a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing-facing systems (not IT development or software engineering roles)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) supporting manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or external manufacturing operations
  • Experience supporting business tools and workflow platforms such as QuickBase, Smartsheet, or similar systems
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for operational reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager, Process and Systems in execution of system related activities aligned to the External Supply Technology Roadmap
  • Manage master data collection workflow partnering with cross-functional SMEs (External Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain)
  • Serve as a support point for systems related questions from end users, triaging issues
  • Support documentation of processes, procedures, and training materials
  • Assist in tracking system enhancements, defect logs, and prioritized requests
  • Support development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and exception monitoring
  • Assist with data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation activities
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles using Power BI, Excel
