We seek an experienced Project Manager specializing in pharmaceutical manufacturing to lead projects.

The successful candidate will lead and execute projects in the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring milestones are met while adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and client expectations. Serve as a construction-focused point of coordination between owners, end users, contractors, and stakeholders throughout execution. Facilitate bi-weekly or monthly construction status meetings for communication and issue resolution.

Monitor contractor adherence to approved schedules, review work plans for logic and sequencing, and report progress, delays, and risks to the Owner. Track RFIs, submittals, inspections, and deliverables impacting cost, quality, and schedule. Coordinate with utility providers and external agencies to support construction compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years of construction project management experience on large-scale pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing facilities approaching $5B
  • Demonstrated experience serving in an Owner’s Representative or construction oversight role
  • Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical building construction, schedule-driven execution, quality standards, and regulatory considerations
  • Proven ability to manage construction schedules, evaluate sequencing and durations, and monitor contractor performance
  • Experience facilitating, documenting, and tracking outcomes from recurring construction meetings
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate among owners, end users, contractors, inspectors, and external agencies
  • PMP and/or CCM certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a construction-focused point of coordination between the Owner, end user, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document bi-weekly or monthly construction status meetings
  • Assist with planning and attending preconstruction meetings in coordination with the Owner and end user
  • Review contractor work plans and construction schedules for logic, sequencing, duration, and alignment with milestones
  • Monitor contractor adherence to the approved construction schedule and report progress, delays, and risks
  • Review periodic schedule updates and progress reports against actual field conditions
  • Track and monitor RFIs, submittals, inspections, and other critical construction deliverables
  • Coordinate with utility providers and external agencies to support construction sequencing
