About this role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Clinical Project Manager to support the execution of clinical studies. This role plays a key part in transforming lives through better evidence by working cross-functionally for timely, high-quality project delivery. Passion for clinical science and growth in a dynamic environment are essential.

You will support Clinical Project Managers in drafting project documentation and reviewing presentations while participating in project meetings, training sessions, and client calls. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting clinical protocol documents, liaising with cross-functional teams, and monitoring internal data flow for timely milestones. You will also verify imaging protocol compliance and follow up on outstanding items like missing data.

In this hybrid role from San Jose, expect to communicate project status updates to clients, respond to inquiries promptly, and act as Project Manager when needed. You will mentor Operations team members, provide feedback to the Operations Manager, and assist in resolving client issues. Collaboration occurs in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting with 0-5% travel.

Adhere to SOPs, GCP, ICH, and FDA guidelines while contributing to process improvements and SOP updates. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in pharmaceutical drug development, clinical trials, and/or clinical research preferred
  • Healthcare, medical experience, and/or clinical research preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model from San Jose with 0–5% travel

Responsibilities

  • Support Clinical Project Managers in drafting project documentation and reviewing presentations
  • Participate in project meetings, training sessions, and client calls
  • Read and interpret clinical protocol documents
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of study milestones
  • Monitor internal data flow and task completion within agreed timelines
  • Communicate project status updates to clients
  • Verify imaging protocol compliance and manage related queries
  • Act as Project Manager when assigned PM is unavailable
